dc.description.abstractBu makalenin çıkış noktası 1996 yılında Taksim Meydanı’nda gerçekleştirilen İsrail’i Kınama Mitingi’nde çekilen bir fotoğraftır. Ellerinde döviz tutan üç çocuğun bulunduğu fotoğraf bir aile arşivinde saklanan gazete küpüründe yer almaktadır. Görsel kültür incelemesi olarak kurgulanan çalışmaya gazete kupüründeki fotoğrafın çağrıştırdığı iki farklı imge dahil edilmiştir. Aile ve ulus-devletin çocuk ve yurttaş idealini ihlal eden üç fotoğraf “bakışın yurttaş uzamı”nda (civic space of the gaze) bir araya getirilir. İmgeler üzerinden düşünme pratiği olarak kurgulanan makaledeki fotoğraflar kanıt niteliğinden ziyade yeni bilgi üretimini mümkün kılacak şekilde yorumlanır.en_US
