Memlük Kıpçakçasıyla Yazılmış Du'a'ü's-Seyfi

Abstract

Memlûk Kıpçakçasıyla yazılmış bilinen eserlere muhtemelen Ebû Abdullah Muhammed Dimyatî tarafından yazılmış "Du'â'ü's-seyfî" risalesini de eklemeliyiz. Bu risale, mevcut bilgilere yeni bir şey katmaktan öte harekeli olması sebebi ile bilinenleri doğrular ve tanıklar niteliktedir. Dil bakımından bu önemi yanı sıra Eski Edebiyatta bir dönem çok kullanılan "Du'â'ü's-seyf" ile ilgili inançları da ortaya koymaktadır.

The pamphlet titled Du'â'Üs-seyfî possibly written by the Ebu Abdullah Muhammed Dimyatî could be accepted in Memluk Kipchak dialect. This text confirms the existent knowledge on the Memluk Kipchak dialect since written in vowel points rather than providing new information. Also, the beliefs related to the Du'â'Üs-seyf are forwarded for consideration, which used very often in the old literature together with its importance for language point of view.
