ANALİTİK FELSEFE: DİLE DÖNÜŞTEN ONTOLOJİYE DÖNÜŞE

Abstract

Analitik felsefe yirminci yüzyılın en etkili felsefi akımlardan biridir ve felsefenin neredeyse bütün problem alanlarında günden güne hakim bakış açısı hâline gelmiştir. Ancak son yıllarda analitik felsefenin yekpare bir gelenek olup olmadığı ve kendi tanımlanabilir karakteristik özelliklerinin olup olmadığı tartışmalı bir konu hâline gelmiştir. Biz bu yazıda çözümlemenin (analysis) ve özellikle tümce çevriminin (paraphrase) bu özelliklerden biri olarak görülmesi gerektiğini iki problematik başlık içerisindeki gelişmelerle ortaya koyduk. Yine aynı gelişmeler içerisinde analitik felsefenin artık ontolojik bir dönüş yaşadığını da sergilemeye çalıştık. Böylece her ne kadar analitik felsefenin dile dönüşle başladığı iddia edilse de günümüzdeki belirleyici niteliğinin ontoloji olduğunun kabul edilebileceğini iddia ettik.

Analytic philosophy is one of the main efficient philosophical movements in twentieth century and it became the dominant one in almost the entire problematic topics of philosophy day by day. But in last decades it is a controversial subject whether analytic philosophy is a tradition and whether it has its own definable characteristical properties. In this paper it is argued that analysis and especially paraphrasing is one of these characteristical properties and maybe the most important and unique one that make analytic philosophy a tradition. That uniqueness revealed by the progress particularly in two problematic topics (problem of reference and problem of universals). It is also claimed (by the progresses in the same topics) that analytic philosophy made an ontological turn. And by this turn although it is said that analytic philosophy based on a linguistic turn, we assert that its main feature became ontology nowadays.
